Tenute Aversa is an elegant home situated in the countryside of Castellammare del Golfo. The property is mainly cultivated with olive trees, so creating a lush and verdant environment. The house was built to be used as family residence and it is structured on two levels. Designed in respect of land and of typical rural culture, in fact, materials such as wood, terracotta and majolica have been used in the construction of the house, all that is needed to make the rooms elegant, warm and welcoming.
You enter the ground floor from the living room, characterized by a staircase leading to the first floor and to the gallery overlooking the same room. The living room has been divided into the dining area and sitting room, embellished with fireplace and the stylish furniture creating a refined and harmonious atmosphere.
Here it is possible to admire an appreciable collection of hand tools used by farmers for their work and now exhibited and stored in the living room.
The built-in kitchen with typical Sicilian majolica tiles is very functional and it is equipped with all the kitchen appliances, including a wood-burning oven, used to prepare typical dishes of Sicilian tradition.
On the ground floor there are also two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a billiard room.
The sleeping area on the first floor consists of three bedrooms. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a beautiful countryside view and a spiral staircase leads from here to a loft area with another bed.
The remaining two bedrooms look out onto a beautiful covered terrace, overlooking the pool and the lush vegetation and they have a further bathroom with shower. Furnishings are sober but elegant and family-owned antiques embellish the entire house.
The swimming pool is located in front of the house and, staying at the poolside, guests may enjoy the beauty of the place. In fact, the comfortable outdoor sofas allow you to enjoy moments of relaxation in complete privacy.
Owners planted a vegetable garden in their property so organically-grown vegetables can be harvested, cooked and eaten by guests.
The Villa is located just few kilometers from the enchanting Guidaloca bay, part of the wild stretch of coast of Castellammare del Golfo. Here you will discover the unspoiled Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro and Scopello, a picturesque old fishing village.
From the property you can easily reach the most beautiful tourist destinations of western Sicily: in just few km you will reach Castellammare del Golfo, the medieval village of Erice, the city centers of Trapani and Marsala where you can visit saltworks with their ancient mills, the Greek sites of Segesta and Selinunte and the Egadi Islands. As well as the capital city Palermo, rich in historical attractions and ancient buildings and the enchanting city of temples, Agrigento, which also boasts fascinating Baroque architecture.
