One of the most charming castles in Tuscany, Mura del Bastione is an ancient Spanish tower carefully restored dating back to the XVI century, built in defence from the invasions of the Saracens.
Located in the gorgeous territory of the Toscana region, this exclusive villa offers a charming panorama over the charming landscape of tuscan coastline and islands and allows to enjoy all the natural resources and also the historical and gastronomical features of this wonderful locality in Tuscany.
Mura del Bastione is equipped with all comforts and particularly with a charming fireplace to make warm the ambience in the colder seasons, a nice pool to spend full of fun hours with friends and family, a great garden equipped with a barbecue area to make livelierer your summer feasts. This tower is wonderfully located, in south of Tuscany, on the Gulf of Talamone. The tower is only a few meters from the seaside and has direct access to a coastline area (cliffs). The property is in peaceful location and offers splendid views over the Argentario and Talamone coastline.
The tower was carefully restored with its original architectural features preserved and it was turned into an elegant private villa offering beautiful interiors furnished with antiques.
The outside areas provide a panoramic pool and are ideal to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscape.
At guests’ disposal: private swimming-pool (6 x 4 m), access to the seaside with solarium area (shared), terrace furnished with tables and chairs ideal for al-fresco dining, barbecue.
The house provides internet connection (WI – FI), satellite TV, mosquito nets and ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms.

Extra services included in the rental prices: daily cleaning (4 hours a day) 6 days a week (Sunday excluded), linen and towels change twice a week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays), electricity charges, assistance for the organisation of guided tours.
Extra services to be paid on site: extra maid service available by arrangement at € 25,- /per hour.
An outbuilding comprising a living-room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (airconditioning provided) is available upon request (prices on demand). This outbuilding can be rented only together with the main property.
Notes: in May 2008 some sequences of the latest James-Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” with Daniel Craig (James Bond) and Giancarlo Giannini (Matis) by Marc Forster were shot in this beautiful villa.

1st floor: double bedroom with fireplace and access, via a wooden staircase, to a room with a small bathroom with shower, wardrobe and access to a small terrace.
The location of the property allows guests to reach the main cities in Tuscany: Talamone with all kinds of shops is only 1 km away, Grosseto, 25 km away, with its attractive and bustling centre, a pretty main square and one of Tuscany’s best archaeology museums; Argentario, 25 km away, Tuscany’s hidden gem on the sea, a mountain surrounded by a beautiful, rocky coastline; Siena, 100 km away, Sienalikely Italy’s loveliest medieval city and known worldwide for the famous Palio, a horse race run two times every summer around the central piazza Il Campo. Further must-see destinations if you are visiting Tuscany are Pisa, 80 km away, made famous all over the world by The Leaning Tower and other interesting sites to see such as the Cathedral and the Baptistery; Florence, 170 km away, with its city centre listed as Unesco World Heritage Site and its fresco-decorated churches, marble basilicas and world-class art museums brimming with paintings and sculptures by Botticelli, Michelangelo et al.
